The globe is rapidly transitioning away from carbon-emitting vehicles. Electric vehicles (EVs) have emerged as a move towards transportation methods that are more ecologically sustainable. The adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) has grown significantly in recent years, creating new challenges and opportunities for the charging infrastructure. This research paper explores the various issues electric vehicle charging systems face and investigates how blockchain technology can address these challenges. With its decentralized and immutable nature, blockchain has the potential to revolutionize the EV charging ecosystem by enhancing security, interoperability, transparency, and efficiency.
