Clustered Wireless Sensor Networks with Blockchain-Enabled Multi-hop Data Transmission
摘要
The wireless sensor network is extremely valuable to a wide range of diverse application fields. These types of networks utilise the cluster architecture to ensure that data transmission operations are carried out in an effective manner. In a wireless sensor network that is clustered together like this one, data can readily pass from one node to another. It is vulnerable to many various kinds of assault. In this article, we present a novel technique to ensuring the safety of the data by utilising the distributed ledger technology known as block chain. To ensure the integrity of the data as it travels across a network of nodes in a decentralised manner, blocks are generated at each level. We have utilised this idea to protect the data from attacks including a man in the middle and to ensure non-repudiation. An examination of the proposed method from a theoretical perspective is carried out with regard to time. The experimental investigation of the proposed strategy with regard to a number of parameters demonstrates that this proposed approach performs more effectively than the previous one.
