Optimizing Warehouse Operations: A Comprehensive Analysis of Iot Implementation and Its Influence on Efficiency, Visibility, and Employee Satisfaction
摘要
This research investigates the multifaceted impact of Internet of Things (IoT) implementation in warehouse management. Leveraging a quantitative research approach and data collected from 500 warehouse management professionals, the study explores the extent of IoT integration, its associated benefits, and the challenges encountered. Furthermore, it scrutinizes the relationship between employees’ years of experience and their satisfaction with IoT usage in the organization. Findings reveal that IoT significantly enhances efficiency, visibility of inventory, and cost reduction within warehouse operations. However, challenges including initial implementation costs, data security concerns, and resistance to change among employees persist. Additionally, employee satisfaction with IoT varies based on their experience level. This research offers valuable insights for organizations aiming to optimize their warehouse operations through IoT technologies, paving the way for more efficient and competitive logistics management.
