Evaluating an Innovative Approach for Enhancing the Protection of Medical Images Using Encryption and QR Encoding

The preservation of privacy of information is of utmost importance in the realm of telemedicine applications in order to ensure successful outcomes. The utilization of encryption and steganography methods is implemented in order to protect the privacy and reliability of medical photographs. QR codes are utilized as a supplementary security measure due to their ability to encode a greater amount of information compared to conventional barcodes. The utilization of the RSA encryption technique is employed for the purpose of encrypting medical photographs, subsequently integrating them with a cover image in order to generate a stego image. The steganographic image is subsequently subjected to QR encoding in order to bolster the system’s resistance against malevolent attacks. The retrieval of the original medical image might be accomplished by a series of steps including the reversal of the process. This entails the decoding of the QR code, acquisition of the cipher image, and subsequent decryption utilizing the RSA algorithm. The complete procedure is executed utilizing the Python programming language.
