This paper presents a comprehensive survey on the utilization of blockchain-integrated technologies for combating counterfeit drugs. Through the convergence of blockchain’s core attributes such as transparency, immutability, and decentralization, along with the capabilities of other cutting-edge technologies, such as automated compliance management through smart contracts, real-time monitoring via the Internet of Things, and data-driven insights derived from Artificial Intelligence, a secure and traceable ecosystem can be established.
