This paper presents a comprehensive overview of various encryption techniques and algorithms with a focus on enhancing data security in the context of communication and information exchange. It introduces innovative encryption approaches such as the ECCHC hybrid encryption method, the integration of chaotic maps in the OTP algorithm, and the utilization of DNA-based encryption for image protection. Additionally, the paper explores the application of genetic algorithms, chaotic maps, and multi-tiered encryption schemes to bolster data security. Furthermore, it highlights modifications to the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm for improved security and performance. The proposed encryption methods are thoroughly examined and demonstrated to provide robust protection against a range of attacks and vulnerabilities, making them promising candidates for secure data communication.
