Paper explores the feasibility of constructing a semi-fragile watermarking system for images using convolutional neural networks. This system is designed for image authentication under conditions where specific types of image modifications are considered acceptable. The proposed solution relies on a neural network architecture designed for robust watermarking. Two approaches have been proposed to retrain a neural network to meet the desired characteristics. Experimental studies have demonstrated the relatively high efficiency of both approaches.
