The present geo-political transformations restructuring the post-WWII International Order engineered by Anglo-American interests accentuate that the importance of forming regional and international alliances cannot be disregarded. In the post-Westphalian era, states around the world have gathered to form durable alliances to not only protect and preserve their domestic integrity and sovereignty, but to collectively achieve their common strategic, political, and socio-economic goals. However, the right impetus for the legality and veracity of such alliances can only be ascertained under the auspices of international law. Therefore, the following research paper elaborates that the creation of international alliances in the Arab-Gulf region has leapfrogged beyond the (Arab) region and enhanced cooperation by emphasizing a dialogue rather than a clash between civilizations. The creation of cooperative alliances has yielded positive results for maintaining regional peace. The study also highlights the role of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government in preserving regional alliances across the “Near East” and “Far East” thus enhancing inter-civilizational integration through local and global alliances by upholding legal precedence enshrined in conventions and charters.
