The aim of the study was to identify best practices for incorporating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in HR processes within the financial sector. The study reviewed 101 best practices for integrating DEI into HR processes within 20 financial sector entities in Poland. Significant potential for DEI implementation was found in HR processes such as communication, employee development and succession, recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, readaptation. Practices used by banks in Poland primarily target gender diversity, reflecting trends observed in other countries. Age diversity practices are gaining importance due to demographic changes, with future focus expected on intergenerational cooperation and meeting the needs of different generations. Other dimensions, such as disability, neurodiversity, and LGBT+ inclusion, are less addressed but are anticipated to grow in prominence due to demographic shifts and technological advancements. The results of the study may serve as an inspiration for redesigning HR processes in the financial sector and other industries, aiming to create an inclusive work environment.
