This chapter will reflect on the concept of spirituality in the context of dementia care, exploring the relevance and importance of this for practice. Research evidence in this domain, a framework and model of spiritual care delivery are considered, as well as methods for conceptualising, assessing and addressing spiritual needs and considerations in doing so. The chapter will also illustrate some of the concepts through case studies based on an amalgamation of clinical and real-life issues.
