I consider the financial and capital market sectors, the pharmaceutical industry and telecommunications compliance-sensitive sectors. For sectors with high risk, the operation is determined by numerous sectoral legislations, international standards, professional guidelines, and recommendations. In my presentation, I will analyze the publicly available compliance documents of OTP Bank Plc., Gedeon Richter Plc. and Magyar Telekom Plc. Long-term corporate and organizational success and compliance-based operations are closely linked. Legislation, professional and quality standards, and ethical rules can all contribute to ensuring that compliance works not only in principle but also in practice. Nowadays, resilience and the ability to adapt play a central role. The development of a compliance culture is of strategic importance and is intertwined with risk management and effective organizational management, which can lead to the practical application of compliance as a value.
