Mental health issues are increasing globally and the number of people suffering from depression continues to grow, especially among young people aged 18–25. This study aims to explore the soothing effect of smart speaker products on young people′s emotions. Taking the emotional design concept as the core, this paper adopts the literature research method and other methods to design a smart speaker product with touch interaction function, using health monitoring and mental health monitoring technology to analyse the user′s emotions based on touch pressure and heart rate, and realising emotional soothing through the changes of light waves and music. The product design focuses on user experience and emotional needs, providing users with an immersive emotional experience to alleviate negative emotional problems and achieve the goal of emotional healing.
