How Might We Improve HCI on a Platform Designed to Improve Interagency Collaboration?
摘要
The ability of an organization, particularly a government agency, to deliver value to its target audience and mission partners depends on its ability to deliver programs and projects. Delivering value requires integration and alignment of a complex array of policies, objectives, and key results. The Growing Good in Government Initiative (G3I), sponsored by the USDA’s Marketing and Regulatory Programs, aims to promote stakeholder value through the Integrated Value Network (IVN), data analytics, and the USDA P/PM Community of Practice to address gaps in program management. We aim to create an integrated, responsive framework to serve citizens effectively, deliver solutions to break down silos, and explore the intersection of competing domains, through building a data and analytics infrastructure that provides answers to critical portfolio, program, and project-level business questions. By leveraging a collaborative platform that supports the needs of decision-makers, we seek feedback from conference attendees to enhance the user experience of a data analysis tool in the creation of useful, usable, and desirable decision-making products for stakeholders and participants using this collaborative platform to translate strategy into tangible improvements in program outcomes.
