Endoscopic Duodenal Resection
摘要
Endoscopic resection of duodenal polyps will vary based on the location and type of polyp encountered. Polyp resection in the duodenum differs from the approach in the esophagus, stomach, or rectum given its blood supply, thin muscle layer, and anatomical position leading to challenging scope position. In addition, the approach to polypectomy and surveillance will differ if the polyps are sporadic or related to a polyposis syndrome. Herein, we describe the indications, contraindications, various resection techniques, complications, and surveillance programs for endoscopic resection of duodenal polyps.
