Superior Thyroid Artery
摘要
The superior thyroid artery bisects the thyroid fascia and splits into anterior and posterior divisions. The anterior division supplies the thyroid’s anterior surface, while the posterior division supplies the lateral and medial areas. The superior thyroid artery lies close to the external branch of the superior laryngeal nerve and is one of the main arteries supplying the thyroid gland, along with the inferior thyroid artery.
