Compared to other vessels during embryological development, the obturator artery arises relatively late as a supplier to a primary capillary plexus (Arey 1963). The obturator artery is subsequently accompanied by the lower limb’s sciatic artery, which travels and develops alongside the sciatic nerve (Sanduno et al. 1993). As the embryo’s development progresses, the obturator artery and other essential vessels in the caudal region enlarge while other primitive vessels regress (Fitzerald 1978).

摘要

Compared to other vessels during embryological development, the obturator artery arises relatively late as a supplier to a primary capillary plexus (Arey 1963). The obturator artery is subsequently accompanied by the lower limb’s sciatic artery, which travels and develops alongside the sciatic nerve (Sanduno et al. 1993). As the embryo’s development progresses, the obturator artery and other essential vessels in the caudal region enlarge while other primitive vessels regress (Fitzerald 1978).
