This work presents an analysis of literacy in artificial intelligence, and its impact on education from the point of view of teachers as axes of educational transformation in the digital era. First, a bibliographic research is carried out in indexed articles and formal sources about the impact of AI in the teaching field and the main associated technologies. Subsequently, a study is carried out through a survey on the population of teachers from a local university, who already had a basic induction on the use of AI in education, to determine their perception of knowledge about the tools, as well as the problems and risks of its impact on education, additionally the level of perception of AI in education as an opportunity and a risk is verified, as non-mutually exclusive parameters.
