Experiment in Family Stress Issues
摘要
This study on family stress follows the pattern of Mind Genomics studies (see Chap. 7 ). The objective of the Mind Genomics study is to understand what specific features or messages of an everyday topic “drives the response.” We can think of a Mind Genomics study as an exercise to measure the strength of ideas. Whereas many researchers change the nature of a person’s reality, and in doing so determine how a person’s mind works regarding a specific topic, Mind Genomics research simply works with mixtures of ideas. These are ordinary, everyday ideas, mixed according to an underlying plan, the so-called “experimental design.” A typical person evaluates a set of these mixtures of ideas, typically in a simple way, almost intuitively doing so. The person who participates in the study often says that it seemed that these ideas about the topic of the everyday were put together in a haphazard manner. The reality is different. The “bottom line,” however, as we will see is that it becomes possible to measure the strength of every single idea, even if the study participant saw these ideas in combination and felt that it was impossible to “guess” the right answer. With this brief introduction to the overall topic of Mind Genomics we move to a topic of the everyday. The topic is family stress, something which affects many people. The issues for this chapter are the categories of ideas for family stress, within those categories specific elements or messages about family stress, and then the differences in the elements when the elements are created by human researchers versus when the elements are created by AI, artificial intelligence. Which creator of ideas generates more interesting results, when the ideas are evaluated by human beings?
