In this chapter, the governing equations of fluid dynamics for inertial reference frames are derived. As for surface forces, only the effects of pressure appear in the so-called Euler equation, while in the so-called Navier-Stokes equation, the effects of molecular viscosity are also considered. The use of these equations allows the derivation of Bernoulli's theorem, the dynamics of vorticity, and various energy balances.

摘要

In this chapter, the governing equations of fluid dynamics for inertial reference frames are derived. As for surface forces, only the effects of pressure appear in the so-called Euler equation, while in the so-called Navier-Stokes equation, the effects of molecular viscosity are also considered. The use of these equations allows the derivation of Bernoulli's theorem, the dynamics of vorticity, and various energy balances.
