This chapter analyses some fundamental aspects of static fluids. Hydrostatic pressure is studied along with some of its important properties. Finally, Archimedean thrust is analysed as applied not only to a solid body immersed in a fluid, but also to a mass of fluid with a density that is different from that of the environment.

摘要

This chapter analyses some fundamental aspects of static fluids. Hydrostatic pressure is studied along with some of its important properties.
