Clinical, Imaging, and Histological Findings in Inflammatory Lesions of the Nail and Periungual Region
摘要
In dermatology, imaging plays a pivotal role in diagnosing inflammatory conditions affecting the nail and surrounding areas. This chapter focuses on the use of advanced imaging techniques to examine common yet often difficult-to-diagnose inflammatory issues, including psoriasis, lichen planus, and ingrown nails. Each condition has its own distinct imaging characteristics that can complicate diagnosis and treatment. By examining how these imaging technologies can reveal the specific features of these conditions, we aim to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment strategies. This chapter provides essential knowledge for clinicians to better understand and manage the diverse presentations of nail and periungual inflammatory disorders.
