Clinical, Imaging, and Histological Findings in Inflammatory Lesions of the Face, Ears, and Neck
摘要
In the realm of dermatology, accurately diagnosing inflammatory lesions of the face, ears, and neck requires a nuanced understanding of both clinical and imaging techniques. This chapter delves into the diagnostic imaging approaches used to evaluate these complex inflammatory conditions. Utilizing advanced imaging modalities such as high-frequency ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging with surface coil and computed tomography, clinicians can gain detailed insights into the depth, extent, and nature of inflammatory lesions. These imaging techniques complement clinical examination by revealing critical aspects of lesion morphology, tissue involvement, and potential complications that are not always visible on the surface. By integrating imaging findings with clinical assessments, this chapter aims to enhance the diagnostic accuracy and guide effective management strategies for inflammatory lesions in these challenging anatomical regions.
