This paper presents a case study of the implementation of modern geotechnical investigation techniques for the design and construction of a multi-storeyed residential complex in Gurugram. The geotechnical investigation involved a comprehensive study of the site conditions and the use of advanced testing methods such as SPT energy measurement, Electrical Cone Penetration Test (eCPT), and footing load test. The results of the investigation provided valuable insights into the soil properties and helped to understand the foundation behavior of the site. The successful implementation of these advanced geotechnical investigation techniques resulted in an efficient and safe foundation design for the complex.
