The objective of this study is to provide a comprehensive overview of the fundamental principles governing detrimental actions in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI) utilization and their implications in terms of recompense and their correlation to the harm experienced by users. Additionally, it examines the regulations concerning international legal jurisdiction that govern potential disputes arising within this context, particularly when involving contracts with foreign entities, whether they are the creators or operators. The researchers employed a descriptive, analytical, and comparative approach, leading to a collection of findings and recommendations. Notably, one of the key recommendations is for the legislative body in Jordan to address the issue of artificial intelligence through dedicated legislation, specifying the nature of compensation resulting from unlawful or detrimental acts. Furthermore, it is essential to determine the party responsible for compensation and incorporate specific provisions within the rules of attribution as they pertain to private international law. Lastly, the study emphasizes the underlying principles upon which compensation is established.
