Nothing is more human-centric than healthcare: humans caring for humans. Thus, ensuring the safety and well-being of healthcare workers is crucial for improving the quality of care. This is the mission of any institution dedicated to occupational risk prevention in healthcare. In this paper we present an ongoing study conducted at aMSP, a nonprofit associative enterprise, with a rich history and ambitious goals. Their strategic opportunities lie in transforming into a more data-intensive and process-oriented enterprise. Digital transformation can significantly improve its services, but it may also involve a profound shift in its operations, processes and culture. Here we present the challenge of digitally improving aMSP through an applied action-research project involving enterprise modeling and architectures, and IS strategic planning. From our literature review, this could be the first reported case in occupational risk prevention where these tools are used, an experience surely useful for other similar enterprises.
