It explores various resilience strategies to strengthen energy systems against these threats. Hard resilience strategies discussed include infrastructure enhancements such as fortifying power lines, while soft resilience strategies cover technological and operational innovations like smart grid technologies and advanced monitoring systems. Finally, this chapter discusses the importance of robust frameworks that facilitate the implementation of resilience measures. It emphasises the role of advanced digital tools in monitoring and forecasting to prevent, manage, and mitigate potential disruptions. Through a blend of theory, case studies, and real-world applications, the chapter illustrates the practical applications and benefits of integrating climate resilience into power systems planning and operations.
