Only rarely: Medical training institutions worldwide offer a course of study in lymphology. The Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla/Mexico is one such exception. Here, the teaching of lymphology is part of the medical curriculum, and there is a training program for the students. Part of it is involved in “anatomy”. The students are taught in a unique program to arouse their interest in lymphology as early as possible. This should lead to a better understanding of the diseases, faster detection of patients and early therapy throughout the country.
