This chapter covers anatomic and physiologic alterations responsible for intra-thoracic sleeve migration (postbariatric sliding hiatus hernia) and reports its prevalence, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. The technique of the modified Hill gastropexy combined with sleeve gastrectomy is described and illustrated in details, with a summary of functional outcomes of this procedure from the literature.
