This paper introduces a cutting-edge solution that utilizes Software Defined Networking (SDN) linked with inexpensive air quality sensors to enhance resource management in smart buildings. These probes can detect particulate matter including PM 2.5, and PM 10 on various surfaces or inside homes along with monitoring carbon dioxide levels indoors. By implementing an ESP32 Controller alongside Arduino IDE the processed information will subsequently be sent by the SDN Controller to the other devices within the building for efficient communication. The data collected will be analyzed to optimize energy consumption based on occupancy levels and air-quality parameters for enhanced energy management. This cost-efficient installation has the potential to offer superior indoor air quality and improve energy usage and the overall performance of smart buildings. This innovative method enhances not only your building’s overall energy efficiency but also ensures consistently superior indoor air quality, benefiting both occupants’ health & well-being and increasing their overall satisfaction & productivity levels. Experience it firsthand by implementing this solution in various establishments such as healthcare facilities where timely and reliable air quality monitoring is an absolute must.

摘要
