Histopathology of Salivary Gland Neoplasms
摘要
Salivary gland neoplasms are a heterogeneous group occurring in the major salivary glands, predominantly the parotid gland and in the minor salivary glands intraorally. The neoplasms arise from the stem cell population, which includes ductal epithelial, acinar, and myoepithelial cell populations, leading to a complex array of histopathological presentations based on the relative proportions of the cell types. Listed below are the common lesions discussed in this chapter.
