Meniere’s Disease
摘要
Meniere’s disease (MD) is an idiopathic clinical illness which presents with acute attacks of vertigo lasting from 20 min to 24 h associated with nausea and sickness, along with a fluctuating low frequency sensorineural hearing loss that may become permanent. Tinnitus and aural fullness usually develop before or during the acute attack. Meniere’s disease is classified as definite or probable by the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery. Their recent Clinical Practice Guideline for Meniere’s disease details the updated classification.
