Tractive Performances of Traction Devices of Two-Wheeled Tractors in Dry Field Conditions: A Review
摘要
The majority of the power that was generated by the engine of two-wheeled tractors (2WTs) (beyond 75%) is lost due to many reasons. One of the main reasons is the type of tractive device that is installed to 2WTs. Because of this loss, the field performance of 2WTs highly drops and leads to low field coverage. As a result, the time required to cover a field increases and similarly does fuel consumption. This review targets to find out the tractive device and mechanism that reduce the loss of power and develop the highest draft force while using 2WTs. Studies conducted to evaluate the tractive performance parameters of tractive devices through direct measurement approach were discussed. Based on the literatures reviewed, the tractive performance of devices has been critically analyzed to figure out that which device and mechanism enables the 2WTs provide superior performance. Future studies have to be made to optimize tractive devices design parameters so that tractive devices can be used efficiently in dry field conditions.
