Recently, dandruff has become a big concern in the health of human skin because it is characterized by a chronic noninflammatory condition of the scalp, which is caused by the fungus Malassezia furfur. Although various synthetic antidandruff mechanisms were employed for the treatment of Malassezia furfur, most of them are not effective due to the development of antifungal resistance. Hence, this study aims to formulate three herbal extracts and evaluate their microbial inhibition performance values. Ethanol leaf oil extracts of Aloe vera, Ocimum sanctum, and Withania somnifera were formulated by using formulation codes F1, F2, and F3. All the developed antidandruff shampoos were evaluated against the antifungal activity of Malassezia furfur by using disc diffusion and colony county tests—to see the effects of the mixing speed, duration, and formulation ratio on the shampoos’ antifungal activity. The statistical analysis of variance (ANOVA) was also employed to support the significance of each experimental factor on the responses, with 95% CI, and the results revealed that all the factors were statistically significant. Although F1 and F2 yielded a promising zone of inhibition, F3 exhibited the best zone of inhibition (34 mm) at a mixing speed and duration of 10 rpm and 10 min, respectively. According to the results, F3 is regarded as the best formulation, and it could be used as an active ingredient in the development of antidandruff shampoos.
