This chapter examines the contemporary feminist movement in Slovenia, emerging after 2010, and its evolution from the legacy of past initiatives that have paved the way for gender equality. The chapter discusses how the movement has shifted both in discursive approaches and organizational structures, moving from centralized structures to diverse, decentralized mobilizations addressing gender-based violence, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and migration. The chapter highlights the movement’s focus on trans-thematic action, linking gender issues with broader socio-political concerns such as anti-capitalism, anti-authoritarianism, and anti-racism. By analyzing the fragmented and pluralized nature of contemporary feminist activism in Slovenia, the chapter illustrates how feminist actors have adopted diverse organizational models and strategies, fostering grassroots mobilizations, pluralistic political engagement, solidarity, and cross-sectional alliances to sustain their struggles. The chapter concludes by emphasizing the movement’s resilience, adaptability, and commitment to intersectional perspectives in addressing both historical and contemporary challenges.
