Indian Education system is one of the most sought after education system in the world. It has produced the workforce who are now spread all over the world. It churns out millions of technical graduates every year especially in IT field. India has various top-ranking engineering institutes like IITs, NITs, and also there are private engineering colleges which have successfully carved a niche in terms of imparting quality education to the students. The institutions are well equipped with world-class equipments, teaching aids which are beneficial to students and also to the teachers. Multimedia classrooms are one such equipments that have brought in revolution in the present teaching and learning process. It is not only beneficial to the students in making the class interesting, but also it makes the learners glued to the classrooms. Multimedia classrooms started as a teaching methodology during the pandemic that struck the world in the year 2019 which proved to be highly beneficial to the administration as well as teachers and the students in engineering institutions. It was also proved that this mode of education was quite innovative and fruitful mode of teaching pedagogy during offline classes after the pandemic when the educational institutions were opened and classes continued through physical mode. However, this paper is an attempt to analyse the importance of multimedia education in a physical classroom and how it can prove to be challenging for an engineering student as well as the instructors.
