Ron Haselden, Stephen Cripps at Acme, Beating the Bridges, Confessions
摘要
Famed for mounting risk-taking exhibitions, the Acme Gallery opened in Covent Garden, London in 1976. This chapter focuses on Raban’s collaborations with other artists and includes two sculpture installations by Ron Haselden and a pyrotechnic performance by Stephen Cripps that were staged in the Acme Gallery. Beating the Bridges (1998) is a collaboration with Paul Burwell that features his solo drum performance on a boat drifting down the River Thames. Confessions (1997) is a one-minute bungee jump performed by the camera at Chelsea Adrenalin Village on the River Thames.
