Cutaneous melanoma is rare in the pediatric population. The presentation varies compared to adult patients, and the diagnosis can be challenging. Despite pediatric patients being excluded from many adult trials, treatment guidelines follow adult recommendations. This chapter will review the epidemiology, presentation, workup, staging, and treatment of pediatric melanomas and spitzoid melanomas.
