Pediatric tumors in the gastrointestinal tracts are rare. Benign tumors are more common than the malignant lesions. The clinical presentation of GI tumors in children can be nonspecific, and a high index of suspicion is needed for diagnosis. In recent years, there have been many advances in imaging and treatment of pediatric GI tumors. A combination of imaging and diagnostic modalities is often needed to reach a correct conclusion. Protocols for treatment of these rare conditions are now readily available, but in many cases, both surgical and medical treatments have to be individualized. In this chapter we have tried to give a bird’s eye view of gastrointestinal tumors in children.
