In this chapter, we describe the methods most commonly employed by researchers to construct DCs. The primary challenge in these methods is ensuring that the resulting DC accurately represents the driving pattern of the region or application under study. Assuming that the data collected during the monitoring campaign is both sufficient in quantity and high in quality, the representativeness of the resulting DC is directly influenced by the chosen DC construction method.
