Cerebral palsy is a domain not trivial when one should developed interactive systems. Based on that, an ontology describing different elements of cerebral palsy disability is proposed in order to support designers of interactive applications dedicated to users with this profile. This paper presents the iterative process used for the creation of this ontology, developed using Protégé software. The results of an initial evaluation based on a questionnaire are explained. A proof of concept for communication aid software usable in mobility illustrates its use by designers. Various perspectives arising from this ongoing research are then listed.

摘要

Cerebral palsy is a domain not trivial when one should developed interactive systems. Based on that, an ontology describing different elements of cerebral palsy disability is proposed in order to support designers of interactive applications dedicated to users with this profile. This paper presents the iterative process used for the creation of this ontology, developed using Protégé software. The results of an initial evaluation based on a questionnaire are explained. A proof of concept for communication aid software usable in mobility illustrates its use by designers. Various perspectives arising from this ongoing research are then listed.
