By analyzing metadata from the Scopus database, the research highlights the positioning of spirituality within the broader management discipline. The chapter identifies key themes central to the scholarly conversation, suggesting a balanced and rich research landscape. While spirituality has gained recognition in various academic fields, including business and management, it remains an emerging area of study rather than a fully established academic discipline. The findings underscore the need for future research to work toward defining spirituality more clearly as a distinct academic field, much like other disciplines that have evolved over time. This study contributes to the ongoing exploration of spirituality’s potential to offer new insights into management, advancing the discourse toward its recognition as a legitimate academic discipline.
