The corpus callosum (CC) is the largest bundle of commissural fibers in humans and connects the frontal, parietal, and occipital cortices with portions of the posterior temporal cortices. It is divided along its length, from anterior to posterior, into rostrum, genu, body, isthmus, and splenium.
