The precentral subthalamic projections (PCSTN) connect the dorsal subthalamic nucleus with the precentral gyrus. PCSTN projections are anterior to the corticospinal tract, medial to the superior putaminal projections, and lateral to the caudate. At the level of the body of the corpus callosum, the PCSTN projections branch laterally and splay out into the precentral gyrus.

摘要

The precentral subthalamic projections (PCSTN) connect the dorsal subthalamic nucleus with the precentral gyrus. PCSTN projections are anterior to the corticospinal tract, medial to the superior putaminal projections, and lateral to the caudate. At the level of the body of the corpus callosum, the PCSTN projections branch laterally and splay out into the precentral gyrus.
