The parietal corticospinal tract (ParCST) connects the superior parietal lobule with the spinal cord. The superior end of ParCST forms a fan extending posteriorly from the superior parietal gyrus. The tract is posterior to the precentral CST, lateral to the caudate and dorsal cingulum. Inferiorly, ParCST funnels into the posterior limb of the internal capsule, lateral to the thalamic nuclei, close to the lateral geniculate nucleus, posterior to precentral CST, and medial to the putaminal projections. Inferior to the thalamus, ParCST is on the lateral aspect of the cerebral peduncle, posterior to the precentral CST, and then descending into the spinal cord.

摘要
