In this chapter, we describe clustering algorithms based on nonsmooth optimization approaches. We describe the limited memory bundle clustering algorithm, the discrete gradient-based clustering algorithm, and the smooth incremental clustering algorithm. Detailed descriptions of these algorithms and their flowcharts are given.
