Advancing Neurosurgery with 3D Rendering Techniques
摘要
In today’s medical world, advanced imaging techniques such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are essential for the precise planning and execution of neurosurgical operations. These technologies enable the visualization of surgical processes before they commence. This article introduces a method that assists neurosurgeons in optimizing the trajectory of the endoscope to minimize the risk of collisions, which is crucial for avoiding accidental medical errors. The proposed methodology has shown significant potential in enhancing neurosurgical planning by providing clear visualization and accurate path planning for inserting minimally invasive surgery (MIS) tools. Future work will incorporate detailed anatomical structures, such as blood vessels and nerves, into the models to refine the accuracy of surgical simulations and risk assessments.
