摘要

The COVID-19 pandemicProximity brought special attention to health, but also to cities through the recognition of health-related urban conditions such as walkability and diversity of uses and servicesServices in neighborhoods. This rethinking led to the development of an algorithm to measure proximityProximity to different facilities and servicesServices considering travel time in different areas of cities from the Observatory of Cities of Tec de Monterrey. The results obtained allowed us to study the average walkingWalking times to different points of interest in a large array of cities and identify any deficiencies that may exist. This approach culminated in the construction of a tool to visualize and understand proximityProximity in cities in an intuitive way and that has been presented in spacesSpace with decision makers.
