During the first decade of the twenty-first century, the outlines of a new stage of industrial development can be seen. Globalization has reached its preliminary climax. The “clash of cultures” has failed to appear and the economy and policy repay their attention to the “real economy”. First of all the Internet bubble and later on the crash of the international financial markets have shown that it is only the protection of value-creating basic processes which will guarantee the sustainable development of our social living together.
