Black hole quantum N-portrait is a microscopic theory that realizes the Occam’s razon approach to black hole physics. Instead of modifying gravity, it describes a black hole as saturated state of soft gravitons within ordinary effective theory. This saturation is the key both for understanding the well-established black hole properties, as well as, for predicting new phenomena, such as a drastic departure from Hawking evaporation after half decay and the concept of internal entanglement. Using this theory, we explain our view of what it means from particle physicist’s perspective to understand black holes and why having a microscopic theory based on universal mechanisms is crucial for this. This unifying thinking allows to nail why all saturated systems, whether black holes in gravity or baryons in QCD, store and reveal the quantum information in similar ways.

摘要
