The burgeoning number of multinational corporations has raised the level of importance of international labor ties, making it necessary to have a separate body of law that would regulate these relations. This research examines issues relating to international employment contracts and concentrates particularly on the ambiguity brought about by the relations between companies in the mother country and those abroad. By filling gaps in Jordanian legislation and resolving the problem of conflicts, this study is intended to establish a legal ground for clarity concerning protective frameworks for workers’ rights while maintaining stability in labor relations with cross-border entities.

摘要

The burgeoning number of multinational corporations has raised the level of importance of international labor ties, making it necessary to have a separate body of law that would regulate these relations. This research examines issues relating to international employment contracts and concentrates particularly on the ambiguity brought about by the relations between companies in the mother country and those abroad. By filling gaps in Jordanian legislation and resolving the problem of conflicts, this study is intended to establish a legal ground for clarity concerning protective frameworks for workers’ rights while maintaining stability in labor relations with cross-border entities.
